Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job
Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Kansas Start Date: March 9,
2026 Location: Wichita, Kansas Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM |
12-hour shifts Highlights: High-volume, 52-bed emergency department
at a major medical center Average patient ratio of 3:1; low acuity
up to 5:1; team nursing model for pediatric patients Fast-paced
environment with diverse case mix including IV starts, medication
administration, sedations, and pediatric care Collaborative
staffing model with charge nurse, nursing team, techs, unit clerks,
physicians, and mid-level providers per pod Meditech EMR system;
Alaris equipment used throughout the unit Travel assignment with
opportunity to work alongside an experienced, dynamic team
Requirements: Current Kansas RN license (or ability to obtain) BLS,
ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Previous travel nursing experience or experience in large facility
emergency departments TNCC certification preferred Meditech
experience strongly preferred Experience in a 52-bed ER or larger
highly desirable Strong ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a
