Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position with NICU experience in a level I trauma setting and night shifts. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the Pediatric ICU within a hospital setting - Cares for pediatric critical care patients with complex health needs - Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week - NICU experience in a level I trauma environment is required - No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered - Responsible for managing an assigned group of pediatric patients with varying degrees of illness - Documents patient responses to interventions and assists in minor diagnostic procedures - Administers medications, initiates and monitors IV infusions and blood products - Provides patient and family education and collaborates with the healthcare team - Must not have worked at the facility within the last 6 months if extending beyond 26 weeks /n /n Requirements/n - Active OK or compact RN license required - Minimum of one year of pediatric critical care nursing experience - Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required - Current BLS and PALS certification from the American Heart Association required - Strong communication, organizational, and patient care evaluation skills /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-668342.
