team culture POSITION SUMMARY: The Therapist provides
trauma-informed counseling services to children and adolescents who
have experienced abuse or other traumatic events, as well as their
supportive caregivers. This role focuses on helping children and
families feel safe, reduce trauma-related symptoms, build healthy
coping skills, strengthen relationships, and support long-term
healing. Services may include individual therapy with the child,
caregiver sessions, and family therapy. Treatment is delivered
using evidence-based, strengths-based approaches tailored to each
child and family. Our therapists maintain a thoughtfully managed,
low client load to support high-quality care and reduce burnout
WHAT YOU’LL DO: Provide trauma-informed assessments and therapy to
children and their non-offending caregivers and family members
Develop individualized, strengths-based treatment plans with clear
goals and measurable outcomes Provide opportunity to deliver
psychoeducation to caregivers to enhance their ability to nurture,
protect, and support their child’s healing Collaborate closely with
Child Family Advocates and members of the multidisciplinary team to
ensure coordinated care Maintain timely, accurate documentation of
services provided Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to
contribute clinical insight and promote best outcomes for children
and families Maintain awareness of community resources and make
appropriate referrals when needed Participate in community
education and outreach as a trusted resource on child safety and
trauma recovery Attend ongoing trainings and supervision to
maintain licensure and meet accreditation standards Fulfill
mandatory reporting responsibilities as required by Kansas law
Support the mission, values, and collaborative culture of the CAC
Occasionally, therapists may be asked to participate in court
proceedings related to a client’s case WHY YOU’LL LOVE WORKING

manageable caseload and offering schedule flexibility. We support
clinicians in creating a schedule that works well for their
families and personal needs. Evening hours are not required but may
be available for those who prefer them There is no overtime —
schedules are flexed as needed Low Client Load We intentionally
maintain a reduced caseload so clinicians can provide thoughtful,
high-quality care while minimizing burnout Clinical Support &
Professional Growth We provide strong clinical supervision and
financial support for professional growth. This includes financial
assistance for supervision hours and additional certifications Our
agency coordinates obtaining certification in Trauma-Focused
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) training and covers the costs
associated with that training Opportunity to participate in or
co-facilitate PSB (Problematic Sexual Behavior) groups, based on
interest and training We also coordinate ongoing professional
development opportunities for our therapists — clinicians are
supported by leadership in identifying, arranging, and accessing
trainings rather than navigating that process alone Positive

Flexible scheduling with support to create a schedule that fits

QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Licensure: Master’s degree in Social
Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related
human services field Licensed through the Kansas Behavioral
Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB) Maintain all required licensure
and continuing education Skills & Experience: Strong written,
verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Interest in working
with children and adolescents ages 3 through 18 Ability to identify
and create a comfortable age range based on clinician preference
and expertise Ability to work effectively within a
multidisciplinary team COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $65,000 per year We offer an incentive plan that allows
clinicians to increase their salary based on billable hours. The
incentive plan begins after 90 days of employment We are an equal
