Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma- Enid, OK Monday-Thursday 11:30am-10pm $4000 Sign-On Bonus Available for this position Main Duties: Perform basic testing in the areas of Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Serology, and Microbiology in a hospital environment. Prepare and perform analyzer maintenance procedures. Ensures all Laboratory QA/QC testing and documentation is completed and reviewed as required. Responsible for day-to-day activities of the laboratory. Required Knowledge: A solid understanding of basic laboratory testing, including Quality Assurance /Quality Control is required for this position. A successful candidate will possess good computer skills and be able to adapt to using multiple computer systems. Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills; The candidate should be able to take instruction from a variety of sources without adversity.Required Experience: AS degree in Medical Lab Technology or BS in Medical Laboratory Science. ASCP MLS/MLT certification or equivalent or be eligible for national MLS/MLT certification.Special Requirement: Holiday and weekend rotation required. Overtime may be required as staffing levels dictate. Must be willing to work outside of normal hours to maintain service levels to hospital. Physical and Mental Requirements:

• The normal performance of duties may require lifting and carrying objects: Objects 1 to 10 pounds are lifted and carried frequently; objects 11 to 25 pounds are lifted and carried occasionally; objects 36 to 50 pounds are seldom lifted or carried and objects over 50 pounds are not to be lifted or carried without assistance.
• Ability to stand and work at the bench for long periods of time.
• Frequent walking and/or standing.
• May be required to use a wide variety of manual and automated pipettes and laboratory instruments and apparatuses all of which demand significant manual dexterity.
