$2,988.00*Job Description*:Under the immediate to general
supervision of a mentor or preceptor, the *MRI Technologist* is
responsible for delivering safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging
services to adult and/or pediatric patients. This entry-level
position supports the medical team by utilizing specialized
radiologic technology to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and
monitoring of a wide range of medical
conditions.*Responsibilities*:* Prepare patients for MRI procedures
by reviewing clinical history and ensuring safety protocols.*
Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images in accordance
with department protocols and accreditation standards.* Assist in
positioning patients to ensure accuracy and comfort during scans.*
Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare cases for
physician review.* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to
ensure timely and effective patient care.* Perform basic quality
control, equipment maintenance, and disinfection procedures per
regulatory guidelines.* Document all imaging procedures accurately,
maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.* Respond calmly and
effectively under routine or emergent conditions across multiple
care settings.* Participate in continuing education to maintain
competencies and stay current with best practices.* Communicate
professionally and compassionately with patients and families to
provide support and instructions.*Certifications & Licensure*:*
Graduate of a *CAAHEP-accredited* program in cardiovascular
technology*OR*Graduate of a *JRCERT-accredited* program in
radiologic technology* *BLS* Certification.* Willing to obtain *MRI
