National Postdoctoral Association Career Center Directs and
coordinates all operational activities by performing the following
duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Conducts all business activities in accordance with Company
policies and procedures.
Performs all activities in a manner that ensures safety,
quality, environmental responsibility, teamwork and

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. The
employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is

distance vision to identify product stored out of reach, peripheral

counts of product, and ability to adjust focus to go from reading
to product identity quickly.
The performance of this position will require exposure to a
typical office environment as well as exposure to the manufacturing
areas of the facility. While in the manufacturing facility, the
employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, hot equipment
and/or parts, high ambient shop temperatures, high precarious
places and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work
environment may be high in the manufacturing facility. The employee
will be required to use personal protective equipment such as
safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection in

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent; or five years related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education
and experience. Prior sand and permanent mold casting experience is
required, as is general working knowledge of heat-treating
operations. Experience in engineering, finance and management in a
manufacturing environment is preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and
technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability
to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers,
regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability
to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to
prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present
information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of
