Job Description:

Job Purpose This position supports regional, terminal, and corporate Operations Management in the recruiting, onboarding, and retention process, while working simultaneously with the Talent Office to facilitate a smooth employee onboarding hiring process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to Assist with the recruiting, onboarding, and orientation scheduling of all employees Assist with the day-to-day candidate engagement processes of the organization Review and provide new applications to appropriate hiring manager daily Constantly review hires in progress to ensure fluidity of process, auditing to ensure compliance with Company & DOT policies/procedures. Prepare, post and monitor job postings for open requisitions as necessary. Provide assistance to management on recruiting statistics Provide information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants Assist with the employee referral program Closely work with IS to analyze applicable data and information Liaison with management to develop policies, programs, and procedures regarding recruiting and retention Assist individual terminals in defining recruiting goals and objectives Gain and maintain knowledge and understanding of DOT regulations, industry trends, current best practices, and new developments regarding recruiting resources Ability to travel to and from the corporate office to terminal and other facility locations. Assist the Talent Office with past employment verifications Assist with monthly invoice reconciliation Assist with driver uniform tracking Assist with weekly and monthly Recruiting and Retention reporting Special projects and other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma One year of experience in office/clerical support, and/or a combination of education and experience are required Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations Computer Equipment and Software Requirements Proficiency with Microsoft Office Systems Additional Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of DOT and Federal Regulations Experience in HR or Staffing Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.
