Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Oklahoma City, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,596 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73104! Job Title: Registered Nurse – Oncology Profession: RN Specialty: Hematology/Oncology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 36.00 Experience: 1 year of experience required License: Current RN License issued by the state board of nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC) Certifications: Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association, ACLS (American Heart Association), Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Must-Have: - Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services. - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors. - Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures. Description: Under general supervision, provides nursing care to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients. Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments. Notes all changes in physician orders on assigned patients. Assists physician in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment. Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients. Observes the physiological manifestations of patients and intervenes when necessary. Administers medication as prescribed. Initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products. Delivers patient care competently. Interacts with family and patients in sharing care plans while in the hospital and at time of discharge. Informs patients and families of hospital procedures. Makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel. Delegates tasks to support staff.
