Job Description HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Wichita, Kansas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract - Number of Beds -26 - Number of Staff – 112 - Type of staff: - Day Shift – 1 CNC(TL), 14 nurses, 2-3 ST, 2 unit clerks - Night Shift – 1 CNC(TL),, 12 nurses, 2 ST, 1 unit clerk - Patient Ratios – 1:1 high risk labor 1:2 antepartum, PPROM, PTL on mag, PP on mag; 1:3 PP mag no baby, Out patients - Type of equipment – Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, CPN(GE) monitor - EMR – CPN gold, Meditech - Typical Procedures: C-sections, Inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, Doppler Must Haves:/n- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred/n- A recent 2 years of L&D RN experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting/n- Circulate C-sections/n- KS RN License/n- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Certifications/n/nPreferred or Nice to Have:/n- High risk LDR experience/n- MediTech Experience/n- Travel Experience
