Job Description:

SSM Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled RN specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures to join our compassionate and professional team. This role involves working in a dynamic, fast-paced surgical environment, providing direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries. Provide direct nursing care for cardiovascular patients before, during, and after surgery. Assist surgeons during procedures, ensuring sterile techniques and patient safety. Monitor patient status and provide updates to the surgical team. Administer medications and document patient responses. Adhere to all surgical protocols and healthcare regulations. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and cardiovascular health management. Proficient in cardiovascular patient management Skilled in operating CVOR specialized equipment Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license BLS certified ACLS certified CNOR certification is highly desirable
