Ascension seeks a dedicated Imaging Services Assistant to join our faith-based healthcare team. This role is critical in supporting our medical imaging department, ensuring operational efficiency and aiding in the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services. The ideal candidate will assist in routine patient procedures, manage records, and maintain imaging equipment. Assist radiologists and other medical staff during imaging procedures Prepare patients and imaging equipment for diagnostic tests and procedures Maintain accurate patient records and manage digital imaging data Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during imaging processes Provide support in scheduling and coordinating patient appointments Assist in inventory management of imaging supplies Proficiency in using medical imaging technology Strong organizational and clerical skills Ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially Effective communication and interpersonal skills Basic understanding of medical terminology related to imaging Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred Certification in medical imaging technology or related field is a plus
