Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Surgical Oncology for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Surgical Oncology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex under general supervision /n• Work in both stepdown AND med surg units - both assignments required /n• ONS/ONCC certification required (fundamentals may be accepted) /n• Experience with chemotherapy and oncology patients required /n• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients /n• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments /n• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures /n• Obtain and monitor physiological data, observe patient manifestations and intervene when necessary /n• Administer medications as prescribed /n• Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products /n• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning /n• Make referrals to appropriate personnel for patient care needs /n• Delegate tasks to support staff /n• 1 year of nursing experience required /n• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required /n• Current RN License from Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact license required /n• Current BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certifications required /n• Strong verbal and written communication skills needed /n• Computer skills and cultural responsiveness required /n/n Facility: /n This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced patient care.
