Job Description Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer II (Pediatric
Echo) Oklahoma City, OK Start Date: 03/23/2026 | ? Contract Through
06/20/2026 ? 4x10s | 40 Hours/Week | Traveler Opportunity We are
seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer II to join a
Pediatric Echo team in Oklahoma City. This is an intermediate-level
role ideal for a highly skilled cardiovascular imaging professional
with pediatric experience. Position Overview Under general to
limited supervision, the Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer II will
independently perform specialized cardiovascular imaging procedures
to support diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care of pediatric
patients with simple to complex cardiac conditions. Key
Responsibilities Perform high-quality pediatric echocardiograms
using specialized imaging equipment Correlate clinical history with
ordered procedures Prepare patients and families for imaging
procedures Ensure accurate documentation and image transfer to
archival systems Conduct post-procedure review to confirm technical
quality and protocol compliance Maintain equipment quality control
and perform user-level maintenance Collaborate with physicians and
multidisciplinary teams Mentor junior staff and participate in
in-service training Support quality assurance and performance
improvement initiatives ? Requirements 3–5 years of experience as a
certified/registered cardiovascular imaging professional Graduate
of a CAAHEP-accredited program in cardiovascular or radiologic
technology Active credentials through ARDMS, ARRT, and/or CCI (in
applicable specialty) Current BLS (American Heart Association)
Strong knowledge of pediatric cardiac anatomy and physiology
Ability to work independently with limited supervision Schedule
Details 4 days per week (10-hour shifts) 3 days of call per month
(Fri/Sat one weeknight OR two weeknights Sunday) May rotate to
outpatient clinic locations 40 hours per week Compensation Weekly
Gross Pay - $2,972 for 40 hrs (W2- $40/hr, Stipend- $1,372/week)
