Job Description:

Ascension, you will be part of a dedicated team, using advanced
medical imaging technology to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of
patients. This role is pivotal in empowering our health
professionals by providing accurate, timely, and effective imaging
services. Performing diagnostic imaging examinations like X-rays,
CT scans, and MRIs. Preparing patients for radiology exams by
explaining procedures, positioning patients correctly, and ensuring
their comfort and safety. Maintaining and operating imaging
equipment, troubleshooting any issues, and ensuring equipment is in
optimal working condition. Adhering to safety standards to protect
themselves, patients, and coworkers from unnecessary radiation.
Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare team members
to evaluate imaging results and ensure high-quality patient care.
Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to
confidentiality guidelines. Proficiency in operating complex
medical imaging technologies. Strong understanding of radiographic
positioning and radiology procedural workflow. Ability to
communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
Critical thinking skills and attention to detail. Medical Insurance

registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Valid state license as a Radiologic
Technologist
