Ascension is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Radiation Therapist to join our team in a faith-based healthcare environment focused on community wellness and innovative care. The Lead Radiation Therapist will collaborate with a team of health professionals to implement treatment plans and contribute to research and educational activities, reflecting our commitment to transforming healthcare through patient-centered, innovative approaches. Oversee daily operations of the radiation therapy department, ensuring all safety and health regulations are met. Implement and monitor patient treatment plans in collaboration with radiologists and other medical staff. Manage and train radiation therapy team, ensuring adherence to professional standards and continuous education. Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational integrity. Participate in clinical research and contribute to publications relevant to radiation therapy. Enhance patient experience by facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring personalized care pathways.
