the Opportunity An experienced Emergency Medicine Physician
Assistant (PA) is sought to join an independent, physician-owned
group providing emergency medicine services in Ponca City, Oklahoma
. This opportunity allows Physician Assistants to practice in a
community-based emergency department with supportive physician
collaboration, strong autonomy, and flexible scheduling. The
position offers a stable, team-oriented environment focused on
clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and long-term
professional growth . Position Highlights: Independent Contractor
(1099) status 140-bed community hospital 12-bed Emergency
Department 12-hour shifts with collaborative physician and APP
coverage daily 21,000 annual ED visits (~55 patients/day, ~1.5
patients/hour) Epic EMR Supportive, physician-led environment
fostering autonomy and professional development Consistent,
flexible scheduling promoting work-life balance Qualifications
Current Oklahoma PA license (or eligibility) Minimum 1–2 years of
Emergency Medicine experience required Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS
certifications (or ability to obtain) Strong clinical judgment,
teamwork, and communication skills Commitment to delivering
high-quality, efficient, and compassionate patient care
