Annex About the Position : Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH) Annex is
recruiting for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work in our newly
opened forensic unit. Responsibilities include: Providing technical
direct and indirect nursing care in a hospital under the
supervision or direction of a registered nurses or licensed
physician. Offering health care to patients, experiencing severe
emotional disorder(s)/psychiatric illness or substance abuse.
Performing crisis intervention and works collaboratively with
Psychiatrists, Therapists, and other Nurses. Preparing medication
and distributing on the unit. Job Type/Salary: Announcement opens
02/11/2026 until filed This is a full-time shift position. Shifts
are 12 hours in duration. Annual Salary is $50,500.00 - $60,000.00
plus holiday, shift differential and benefits! Night shifts The
FLSA Status is Non-Exempt for this Position. Minimum Qualifications
and Experience: LPN III: Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma
license as a licensed practical nurse as approved by the Oklahoma
Board of Nursing plus two years of practical nursing experience; or
Licensed Practical Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse
Licensure Compact (eNLC) plus two years of practical nursing
experience. LPN II: Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma
license as a licensed practical nurse as approved by the Oklahoma
Board of Nursing and one year of practical nursing experience; or
Licensed Practical Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse
Licensure Compact (eNLC) plus one year of practical nursing
experience. LPN I: Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license
as a licensed practical nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of
Nursing; or Licensed Practical Nurse License recognized by the
Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). Possesses a strong

offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance
Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and
shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally
lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum

any job-related travel normally associated with this position and

Hospital Annex (GMH Annex) is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,
on the site of the former Hillcrest Hospital. This 30-bed facility
provides compassionate, recovery-focused care for individuals who
are pretrial defendants found incompetent to stand trial, as well
as those adjudicated Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI) or Not
Guilty by Reason of Mental Illness (NGRMI). The GMH Annex is
dedicated to helping each person achieve stability, restore
competency, and successfully transition to the next stage of their
recovery journey. Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Preplacement
