Wichita is recognized for its friendly community, vibrant arts scene, and affordable living—making it a top destination for Kansas nursing jobs./n /n/nTravel Nurse Job Details/n /n - Assignment Type: Travel Nursing/n - Location: Wichita, KS 67214/n - Unit: Telemetry (IMU)/n - Start Date: December 9, 2025/n - End Date: March 10, 2026/n - Duration: 13 weeks/n - Shift: 7AM - 7PM (12-hour day shifts)/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470 - $1570/n - Patient Ratio: 1:6 (1:4 for Heart Cath patients)/n - Unit Features: PCA Pumps, IV Pumps, Chest Tubes, Meditech EMR/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license/n - BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)/n - Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or IMU nursing experience/n - Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills/n - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a healthcare setting/n - Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care/n /n/nTelemetry RN Responsibilities/n /n - Monitor and assess patients in the Telemetry unit, including Heart Cath recovery/n - Administer medication drips and manage central lines/n - Perform bubble studies and other standard clinical procedures/n - Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, including RNs, Patient Care Techs, and Unit Clerks/n - Document patient care using Meditech EMR/n - Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality healthcare/n /n/n /n Experience a supportive work environment with experienced nursing staff and advanced medical equipment.
