Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Circulator OR Adult Job Details: • Work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM • Call shifts required • Holiday shifts required if applicable • Minimum 6 months Level I experience required • Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for patients during operative or invasive procedures • Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care in operating room environment • Responsible for ongoing evaluation and documentation of all components of patient care • Individualize patient care according to health status, age level, and specific surgery/procedure • Minimum one year experience in acute operating room environment required • Must have excellent understanding of AORN Standards • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred • Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required • Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required • CNOR certification preferred • Strong organizational, planning, coordination and evaluation skills required • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Computer skills required Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced surgical procedures.
