Responsibilities - Work in an adult surgery operating room in a hospital setting - Four 10-hour day shifts per week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM - Call shifts and holiday coverage may be required - Position involves serving a surgical patient population undergoing operative and invasive procedures - Role requires at least 6 months of Level I trauma center experience - Responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating perioperative nursing care - Accountable for ongoing evaluation and documentation of patient care utilizing the nursing process - Individualizes patient care based on health status, age, and surgical procedure - Team-oriented environment requiring effective communication and collaboration - Scrub attire must meet operating room standards - No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered - Returning travelers may extend only once for a total of 26 weeks, with a required 6-month separation before reapplication Requirements - Active Oklahoma RN or multistate compact RN license - Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association - Minimum of one year of experience in an acute operating room environment - Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program required - Knowledge of AORN standards and ability to apply professional nursing theory and techniques Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-664635.
