CPI/MOAB High Risk Must-Have: - Experience with medical and
psychiatric disorders - Knowledge of altered mental status,
hallucinations, and substance abuse Description: The RN Behavioral
Health is responsible for caring for patients with diverse medical
and psychiatric disorders. This includes conditions such as altered
mental status, delirium, hallucinations, and alcohol withdrawal.
The role will also involve addressing issues related to overdose,
polysubstance abuse, and chronic diseases such as CHF and COPD.
Nurses will be expected to manage patients suffering from acute
kidney injury, rhabdomyolysis, diabetes mellitus, schizophrenia,
and bipolar disorder. Additionally, the RN will provide support to
patients experiencing depression, mania, and dementia. Candidates
must possess the necessary certifications and meet the experience
requirements outlined above. Strong assessment and crisis
intervention skills are essential in this high-risk environment.
