Registered Nurse (RN) | Rehab Location: Wichita, KS Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,614 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Travel - RN - Rehab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS certified Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. LPN must be IV certified. Read telemetry. Description: Wesley Rehabilitation Center is a 41-bed facility focused on enhancing patient recovery through rehabilitation services. The night shift consists of 4 RNs and 4 LPNs. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6. The unit is equipped with patient lifts, iSTAT monitors, glucometers, and electronic medical records systems. Assist in implementing rehabilitation care plans established by the interdisciplinary team. Conduct lab draws, administer IV medications, perform blood administration, and complete head-to-toe assessments. Candidates should have a passion for educating patients and family members about their care plans and rehabilitation programs. Good communication skills, empathy, and advocacy for patients are essential qualities for this role. The center follows established policies and guidelines to ensure exceptional patient care. A new rehabilitation hospital is set to open in October 2024, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Staff will have the opportunity to work closely with an interdisciplinary team and utilize med/surg skills in a post-acute setting.
