Job Title: Travel RN - PICU Profession: RN Specialty: PICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: CPR, PALS Must-Have: Works well under pressure Great assessment skills Description: Travel opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The unit has a level II trauma designation. There are 15 beds available for patient care. The staff includes an intensivist, registered nurses, desk technicians, respiratory therapists, dietary personnel, and case management. The night shift staff consists of an intensivist, registered nurses, desk technicians, and respiratory therapists. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 2:1. Typical equipment used includes general CR monitoring, CRRT, TPT placements, and EMR systems. Responsibilities include IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements. Candidates with CRRT experience and APHON certification are preferred. Attention to detail is essential.
