Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Orthopedic Location: Oklahoma City, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,146 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Ortho RN in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73104! Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year License: Current RN License issued by the state board of nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License. Certifications: Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association. Must-Have: - Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program. - Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures. - Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques. - Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees. - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors. - Some computer skills. Description: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients. Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments. Notes all changes in physician orders for assigned patients. Assists physician in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments. Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients. Observes physiological manifestations of patients and intervenes when necessary. Administers medication as prescribed. Initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products. Delivers patient care competently. Interacts with family and patients in sharing care plans while in the hospital and at the time of discharge. Informs patients and families of hospital procedures. Makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel. Delegates tasks to support staff.
