Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is based in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital - Unit includes 15 labor rooms, 5 triage beds, and 3 ORs - Use of Cerner EMR and Fetalink for documentation and fetal monitoring - Shifts are 12 hours, 07:00 to 19:30 - Possible floating to postpartum, NICU, or other units as needed - Primary responsibilities include direct patient care in labor and delivery, assisting physicians during childbirth, monitoring patients and fetal well-being, and supporting postpartum care as needed - Hospital provides laundered green surgical scrubs - May be required to float to postpartum, NICU, or other hospital units - Holiday and weekend coverage may be required depending on scheduling needs - COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this assignment - Local candidates are accepted but may receive a reduced pay rate due to the facility's radius rule - Only one active submission to Ascension positions system wide is allowed per candidate /n /n Requirements/n - Active RN license with current Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start - Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Labor and Delivery - BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) through AHA/AAP required - Fetal monitoring certification (AWHONN, Relias, or equivalent) completed within the past 2 years if not covered in competency exam - Moderate Risk MOAB De-Escalation training required - Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US address /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-594374.
