Job Description PHP is seeking a travel nurse RN Transplant Surgery for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Transplant Surgery - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Surgical Transplant Requirements: Stepdown/PCU experience. Travel Experience. Transplant experience preferred. 4W Surgical Transplant is a mixed stepdown and acute care floor which cares for post-surgical kidney, liver and pancreas transplant patients. They also care for pre-transplant patients who are being evaluated for a transplant during their inpatient stay. Patients require close monitoring for infection, rejection, and timely medication delivery. This is NOT a PACU position./n/nSkills:/tRequired Skills & Experience:/n-1 year of experience./n-Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures./n-Ability to organize, plan, coordinate and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques./n-Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees./n-Good verbal and written communication skills./n-Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors./n-Some computer skills./nPreferred Skills & Experience:/n-N/A/nEducation:/tRequired Education:/n-Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program./n/nPreferred Education:/n-Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program./n/nRequired Certifications & Licensure:/n-Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)./n-Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association./n/n440791 About PHP At PHP, you are always the first focus!
