This role offers the opportunity to provide life-saving care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. The ICU RN will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize patients, manage complex conditions, and support families through challenging health Responsibilities:Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill adult patientsMonitor and interpret vital signs, hemodynamics, and critical lab valuesAdminister medications, IV infusions, blood products, and other therapeutic interventions as prescribedOperate and manage advanced life support equipment such as ventilators, CRRT machines, and infusion pumpsCollaborate with intensivists, specialists, respiratory therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plansRecognize and respond to changes in patient conditions and emergency situations promptlyEnsure accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)Provide emotional support and education to patients and their familiesMaintain strict adherence to infection control, patient safety, and hospital policiesParticipate in continuing education and performance improvement initiativesQualifications:Required:Active RN license in the state of KSAssociate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificationMinimum of 1 year experience in an acute care setting (preferably in ICU or step-down unit)Preferred:Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) or working toward certificationExperience with ventilator management, sedation protocols, and electronic charting (e.g., Epic)Key Competencies:Strong critical thinking and clinical judgmentAbility to work effectively under pressureAdvanced assessment and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesEmotional resilience and compassion for patients in critical conditions#46236

Minimum Requirements:
Current 1-2 years of current ICU RN experience
Current Kansas RN License
Current BLS and ACLS Certifications
Additional Certifications may be required
Drivers License
EMR Experience (Include years of experience, and systems used)
Final RTO or any scheduling requests
Two Supervisory References from the past two years of employment
