Job Description:
*** $20,000 SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE ***
Psych experience strongly preferred for this Psychiatric RN
position on a secured unit caring for patients with acute
psychiatric and medical comorbidities, including those with mood,
thought, substance abuse, behavioral disorders, and suicidal
ideations.
Shift: 2:45 PM - 3:15 AM. Responsible for delegating, supervising,
and providing age-appropriate nursing care, utilizing the nursing
process, and incorporating evidence-based practices and
research.
Contributes to quality improvement, adheres to professional and
hospital standards, and promotes compassionate, patient-centered
care.
Qualifications include Illinois RN licensure, current BLS/CPR
certification, and ability to perform patient transfers and
manipulative skills. Work involves exposure to blood, bodily
fluids, and potential hazards.
