• 2 Years of previous experience
• Neuro/OR experience
• Valid certification
• BLS & ACLS issued through American Heart Association
• Must be eligible to work in the United States UNIT NOTES: OR - # beds: 12 suites--approx 15 cases per day - Certs: BLS - Ratios: 1 to 1 - EMR: Cerner Surginet - Charge Nurse: Yes - Scrub Techs: Yes - Weekend Requirement: No - Holidays: No - Call: No call required - Scrub Color: Provided by the hospital - Tele: Phillips - Vents: No - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: 3 - IV Team: No - RT 24/7: Yes - Pharmacy 24/7: Closes at 12:30 am. Opens at 6 am. Use Tele pharmacy in Sacramento - Shifts: 8's: 0645, 1100, 1500 - Floating: No - Floor specific orientation: 2-3 shifts with a preceptor - Common diagnosis/Types of patients: Ortho-totals, sports medicine, spine, rare cranies, general surgery, no peds, ENT, eyes, some vascular, traveler don't take hearts - Additional Notes: No procedural sedation; Minimum 2 year experience, prefer surgery center experience too Additional Questions: Scrub techs need CST, prefer them also have SPD experience; at times need surgical attendants who transport patients, turn rooms, etc; also may need equipment technicians who set up rooms in between cases based on case, preference cards, etc ABOUT CAREERSTAFF UNLIMITED: CareerStaff Unlimited, LLC ("CareerStaff") is a leader in the delivery of workforce solutions and staffing services for the healthcare industry.
