Koch Fertilizer Enid, LLC is now seeking an Instrument Reliability Engineer. This role has a primary focus on field instrumentation, valves, and field instrument systems up to and including control system hardware. The position offers opportunity for growth into the areas of functional safety and SIS, as well as regulatory process control and DCS. This role will work cross functionally with Koch Fertilizer Plants and be responsible for the optimization of the performance of instrument and controls systems.

    • Champion Mechanical Integrity for site instrumentation compliance and control's reliability utilizing asset diagnostics, digital asset management and metrics reporting.
    • Maintain and develop site Mechanical Integrity procedures for Instrumentation.
    • Participate in work scope reviews and audits for unit shutdowns and normal operations.
    • Promote a culture of Mechanical Integrity Stewardship and Compliance through customer service, individual integrity, teamwork, employee innovation, personal and site accountability.
    • Work with capital projects managing site requirements for successful project implementation of all aspects of PSM and Mechanical Integrity
    • Participate in the (MOC) work process supporting Mechanical Integrity and Process Safety Management (PSM) best practices.
    • Participate in PSM/RMP Compliance audits. The Experience You Will Bring
      Requirements:
      • Instrumentation and or DCS/SIS controls experience What Will Put You Ahead
        • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
        • T--V Functional safety certification
        • Supervisory experience within a chemical, refining or petrochemical environment.
        • Experience in DCS, SIS instrumentation maintenance or design.
        • Digital asset/data management experience
        • Experience working with Process Safety regulations (i.e., 29 CFR 1910.119 and 40 CFR 68)
        • Experience with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), management of change (MOC), and pre-startup safety reviews (PSSR)
