Bank Cards Products Risk Manager EXCITING BUSINESS MODEL Poised for growth! As a National Products Risk Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing risk management strategies related to unsecured credit products. You will be responsible for analyzing and mitigating risks, optimizing software usage, and providing recommendations to enhance credit product offerings. Your expertise in risk, underwriting, fraud, and debit bankcard collections monitoring will be essential in ensuring the company's financial stability and compliance. Bank Cards, Credit Cards, Debit Cards. You will manage a very small team that already runs well and invited a person to take over the people management duties! Position Responsibilities: - Develop and implement risk management strategies for national unsecured credit products - Monitor and analyze credit card collections and fraud activities to identify potential risks - Utilize software tools to optimize risk assessment and fraud detection processes - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements - Conduct data analysis to measure the effectiveness of credit product recommendations and make necessary adjustments as needed Position Essential Job Functions: - Manage risk assessment and underwriting processes for unsecured credit products - Provide guidance and support to teams in identifying and mitigating credit card fraud risks - Build projections and credit product recommendations based on data analysis - Develop and implement strategies to optimize credit product usage and profitability - Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes related to risk management Skills: - Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field preferred - Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, underwriting, or related roles - Strong understanding of unsecured credit products and associated risks - Proficiency in data analysis and ability to make informed decisions based on insights - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Benefits: - Competitive salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 - BCBS medical coverage - PTO - Profit sharing eligible!
