Job Overview: The Operations Research Specialist is responsible for researching and resolving bank transaction errors, reconciling daily activity, and managing exceptions such as cash discrepancies and general ledger variances. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing. The candidate for this position will be responsible for: Researching and resolving bank transaction errors, including cash letter differences, general ledger variances, and cash discrepancies, ensuring accurate communication with internal teams and external financial institutions. Performing daily reconciliation of teller transactions, ATM/ITM processing, POD processing, and mobile deposits, resolving issues in a timely and compliant manner. Reviewing daily reports for exceptions such as unposted, overdraft, stop payment, and restricted account items, and take appropriate corrective actions. Responding to customer complaints, adjustment inquiries, and service concerns by identifying root causes and providing timely resolution. Completing other duties as assigned by the supervisor to address operational needs and ensure workflow continuity. Requirements for this position: High school diploma (or equivalent). 1 years of experience with a financial institution. Ability to access, input and process information with the computer for up to eight hours intermittently. Ability to work late and/or flexible hours required.
